Papa Nui Cap Co. is the creation of John Tesoriero and draws on decades of experience in the heritage clothing industry, along with an enviable collection of vintage clothing and militaria. The brand creates caps with vintage military, utility and surf influences, inspired by the resourcefulness of GIs and their ability to reimagine and repurpose their kit to suit their environment. Much more than simply a reproduction brand, each Papa Nui cap has a story behind it. The finest military-spec materials are sourced from Japan and each cap is battle-tested under the rays of the South Pacific sun. Manufacturing is left to the capable hands of John Lofgren & Co., who ensure the finished products are made to the highest standards of quality and ethics, resulting in a cap that will last a lifetime and only look better with age. Papa Nui Cap Co. was our first brand at Those That Know and we stock every release, including many pieces that are not available anywhere else. As John himself says, “anything else is just a cap”.
