Tokyo-based brand Riding High is based around a concept of creating cut & sewn products influenced by American Standard culture. Creating vintage-inspired sportswear and casual clothing, they stick resolutely to using the yarns and knitting machines used to manufacture these pieces in the post-war years. Much of their collection is knitted on vintage loopwheel machines imported from the USA in the mid-20th century at one of the few remaining factories in Japan to still produce this exceptionally high-quality cloth. Due to their slow knitting speeds, loopwheel machines only produce around one square metre of fabric per hour, but the resulting cloth is super-soft, dense and strong. Riding High is coming to Those That Know for summer 2021.
