Riding High

Riding High is based in Tokyo and was formed around an ethos of “manufacturing that makes each product have an expression”. The brand specialises in cut-and-sew pieces based on the “American Standard”, or the classic US casual and military sportswear of the 1950s and 60s. The pieces they create have the same feel and quality as the vintage pieces they’re inspired by. This is achieved by Riding High’s use of period-correct knitting machines, hanging machines and developing yarns that replicate those used over half a century ago. Incorporating a modern essence into vintage pieces, Riding High produces a classic collection that constantly evolves based on the technology and trust cultivated since the brand was founded.
