Gypsy & Sons is a hidden gem from Japan and a brand that we’re delighted to add to the Those That Know roster. Founded by Yoshichika Kato in 2016, the pieces Gypsy & Sons produce focus on combining function with heritage style to create clothes for modern life. The brand uses the expertise of small Japanese workshops and the skills of the craftspeople who work in them to incorporate specialist processes and techniques into their clothes, giving them vintage feel. With their new takes on classic styles, Gypsy & Sons clothing strikes a balance between work and dress, with influences ranging from Americana, US military garments, mid-20th century workwear and sportswear. We’re excited to share this brand with our customers over the coming seasons.
