Gypsy & Sons Ventile Anorak – Gold

The Gypsy & Sons Ventile Anorak uses a combination of nostalgia and Japanese quality to create the perfect outdoor jacket. It is based on jackets worn by pre-war mountain troops and comes fully lined with three front pockets. It is made from Ventile, a fabric first developed at the Shirley Institute in Manchester during the 1930s and used in military uniforms, pilots’ immersion suits and in bushcraft clothing. It’s high density weave provides protection from inclement weather and, in heavy rain, the fibres expand to completely repel water. It is finished with a contrast zip toggle, hood and internal dual branding.

For more information on shipping, we have a dedicated shipping page. We use Royal Mail for most orders but occasionally UPS, FedEx and DHL for higher value international orders. Shipping starts at £6 in the UK and £15 international and increases based on location and, for larger orders, weight.

Please be aware that we’re a two person operation so there may be a day or two between ordering and shipping. If you need something urgently, please contact us and we’ll probably be able to sort it.

We offer an easy returns process which is explained in detail on our returns page. All we ask is that returned items arrive back with us in as-new condition including labels and packaging. Unless we’ve made a mistake, we can’t refund or exchange socks, magazines or books.
