The Surfer T-Shirt is the first release from Sunflower Label, a new brand from Osaka. The brand aims to make made in Japan products accessible to a wider audience with classic, vintage-inspired pieces made to exceptionally high standards. The comfortable, loose-fitting Surfer T-Shirt kicks things off right with a custom-produced recycled cotton fabric which is heavy without being stifling. The fabric is then dyed in-house in one of four performance colours. Sunflower Label’s tagline is “Fits Like a Hug” and with its irregular open-end spun yard, this tee has a real vintage feel to it.
Sunflower Label Surfer T-Shirts are roomy and designed to be worn loose. If you'd like a closer fit, we recommend sizing down. To get the perfect fit, compare the measurements below with a t-shirt you own. These t-shirts have been washed once so no further shrinkage will occur with a regular 30 degree wash and low tumble dry.

A new brand from Osaka, Sunflower Label focusses on producing easy to wear unisex apparel made to the highest standards in Japan. The line comes under Pine Mills Co., a highly experienced yarn spinning and dyeing company.
Using their expertise, Sunflower Label create their own original fabrics and use swatches from various small mills across Japan. Products are dyed in-house and yarns are crafted in the brand’s showroom. Sunflower’s motto is “Fits Like a Hug” which, when you get your hands on their clothes, makes perfect sense.
The brand’s aim is to produce affordable pieces that are comfortable and easy to care for, whilst making “Made in Japan” more accessible to a wider audience. Clothing that give its wearer an experience that resembles the classic Made in USA vintage pieces that are so collectable today, but made entirely in Japan.

The t-shirt has been washed once. There will be minimal or no shrinkage on further washing. When needed, we recommend washing on a 30 degree cycle and tumble drying on low.
