The Strike Gold Brushed Check Work Shirt comes in a proprietary flannel fabric specially made for the brand. It’s cut is inspired by 1930s work shirts and features all the attention to detail and vintage features you’d expect from one of Japan’s most revered brands. These include chain stitch side seams with run-off, double needle construction throughout and period-correct asymmetrical pockets.
The shirt is a regular fit and we recommend sizing up by one size. So if you’re usually a medium, choose a large. Check the size guide for exact measurements.

For more information on shipping, we have a dedicated shipping page. We use Royal Mail for most orders but occasionally UPS, FedEx and DHL for higher value international orders. Shipping starts at £6 in the UK and £15 international and increases based on location and, for larger orders, weight.
Please be aware that we’re a two person operation so there may be a day or two between ordering and shipping. If you need something urgently, please contact us and we’ll probably be able to sort it.
We offer an easy returns process which is explained in detail on our returns page. All we ask is that returned items arrive back with us in as-new condition including labels and packaging. Unless we’ve made a mistake, we can’t refund or exchange socks, magazines or books.
