Long story short, we cover all import taxes and customs fees for orders from the EU and USA.
Things are more difficult for a small business like ours than they were when we started TTK back in 2019. Back then, shipping to anywhere in Europe was as easy as sending something within the UK. Sending to the USA wasn’t much more difficult.
Since then, thanks to our respective governments and 52% of the UK population, it’s much more complex. However, we’ve done a lot of work to make things as smooth as they always were for our friends in Europe and the USA.
EU customers
Leaving the EU is something we didn’t want and didn’t vote for. Our priority since then has been to make sure our European customers can continue to order from us and receive their orders without any customs bills or unexpected charges.
We’re happy to say that customers in the European Union can now order as usual with a guarantee that all customs fees and taxes will be taken care of by us. The price you see on our website is the price you will pay.
We have partnered with a Finnish organisation call the EAS Project, who are certified by the World Customs Organisation. EAS automate the collection of sales tax in all 27 European Union countries, allowing us to sell, comply with tax and customs regulations as we did before the UK left the EU.
USA customers
We have a similar system in place with Royal Mail whereby we pay the recently introduced 10% tariff when we ship your order.
The result of it is hassle free shopping and quick delivery without any unexpected customs invoices or tax bills. We hope this gives you the confidence to shop with us.
