The Papa Nui Grease Monkey Cap is a reborn version of the classic A-3 Cap. A new release for this season, it comes in a beautiful 9oz Japanese denim that is made from 100% Zimbabwean cotton. It comes with the exceptional quality and long list of details you’ve come to expect from Papa Nui Caps, including a contrasting Olive drab herringbone twill flip-up visor, herringbone twill sweatband and match taping. The piece is brought together with contrast olive stitching throughout. Despite being issued to aircraft mechanics, the original A-3 Caps became popular with anyone who could get their hands on one due to their comfort and practicality. The Grease Monkey is no different and can be worn with the visor down or flipped up, in true 1940s GI style.

Papa Nui size guide

Watch caps and other special models come in one size. Because of the materials used, these will work for you if either Medium and Large size Papa Nui caps fit you comfortably.

For more information on shipping, we have a dedicated shipping page. We use Royal Mail for most orders but occasionally UPS, FedEx and DHL for higher value international orders. Shipping starts at £6 in the UK and £15 international and increases based on location and, for larger orders, weight.
Please be aware that we’re a two person operation so there may be a day or two between ordering and shipping. If you need something urgently, please contact us and we’ll probably be able to sort it.
We offer an easy returns process which is explained in detail on our returns page. All we ask is that returned items arrive back with us in as-new condition including labels and packaging. Unless we’ve made a mistake, we can’t refund or exchange socks, magazines or books.
