The Alberton Japan All Weather Mountain Parka is a collaboration with Gypsy & Son and uses a combination of nostalgia and high-performance materials to create the perfect outdoor jacket. It is based on jackets worn by pre-war mountain troops and comes fully lined with three front pockets.
This anorak style jacket is waterproof, breathable and even flame retardant. The Army Duck Nylon fabric, developed specifically by the brand, has significant advantages over synthetic technical fabrics. One of the joys of camping is the campfire and Alberton wanted to create a fabric that self-extinguishes in the unlikely event it catches fire.
Not only is the jacket fantastic at repelling water, it is also highly breathable meaning that it is good for a full day of trekking or a day in the city. It is finished with a contrast zip toggle, hood and internal dual branding.

For more information on shipping, we have a dedicated shipping page. We use Royal Mail for most orders but occasionally UPS, FedEx and DHL for higher value international orders. Shipping starts at £6 in the UK and £15 international and increases based on location and, for larger orders, weight.

We offer an easy returns process which is explained in detail on our returns page. All we ask is that returned items arrive back with us in as-new condition including labels and packaging. Unless we’ve made a mistake, we can’t refund or exchange socks, magazines or books.
