The One Ear Brand Eejyanaiki Kanaikougei Natural Dye Bandanna features an original art inspired by Japanese Tengui and Shinto. Each bandanna has been hand-dyed in Amami Oshima, Japan, using techi-iro, which comes from a tree. The bandanna is then dipped in mud, which attached the tannins to the dye to create the brown/black finish. The larger 90cm x 90cm size of these bandannas gives them more flexibility and potential uses for the contemporary market. We’re hoping to see One Ear Brand bandannas used in a wide range of locations in many different ways.
