Alberton Japan 18oz Army Duck Tote Bag
£75.00
The Alberton Japan 18oz Army Duck Tote Bag is made from the brand’s durable 18oz military-grade canvas, originally developed for use by the US Army. Densely woven for strength and longevity, it offers a hard-wearing alternative to traditional Japanese canvas.
The practical everyday design features leather carry handles, an internal organiser pocket and a removable, adjustable shoulder strap. The handles are made from natural vegetable-tanned cowhide, which will darken and develop character with use.

Alberton Japan revives a lost American textile legend. Once a major spinning company in Baltimore, Alberton built its name on durable duck cotton, a tightly woven, water-repellent fabric first used by the US Army in World War I. More than a century later, the brand has been faithfully reborn in Japan and its iconic fabric is recreated using the same traditional methods for a modern audience.
For more information on shipping, we have a dedicated shipping page. We use Royal Mail for most orders but occasionally UPS, FedEx and DHL for higher value international orders. Shipping starts at £6 in the UK and £15 international and increases based on location and, for larger orders, weight.
Please be aware that we’re a two person operation so there may be a day or two between ordering and shipping. If you need something urgently, please contact us and we’ll probably be able to sort it.
We offer an easy returns process which is explained in detail on our returns page. All we ask is that returned items arrive back with us in as-new condition including labels and packaging. Unless we’ve made a mistake, we can’t refund or exchange socks, magazines or books.
