Duck Blanket

The Alberton Japan x One Ear Brand Duck Blanket has been jacquard woven in Osaka. This blanket is flame resistant which makes it very safe to use for camping and at home. It is based on a vintage LL Bean blanket, with the duck changed to an “Army Duck” to suit the army duck canvas produced by Alberton.

Alberton Japan revives a lost American textile legend. Once a major spinning company in Baltimore, Alberton built its name on durable duck cotton, a tightly woven, water-repellent fabric first used by the US Army in World War I. More than a century later, the brand has been faithfully reborn in Japan and its iconic fabric is recreated using the same traditional methods for a modern audience.
