The TSPTR USMC P-44 Jacket is the brand’s recreation of the iconic US Marine Corps jacket issued towards the end of the Second World War. The P-44, as its name suggests, was issued fro 1944 and was mainly worn in the Pacific theatre. Made from an 8.2oz herringbone twill, or HBT was initially meant to be worn over the standard-issue uniform for protection against general wear whilst doing fatigue duties, but it was quickly adopted as the uniform of choice in hotter climates due to its lightweight and durable fabric. TSPTR’s interpretation takes the pattern of the original and modifies it for modern everyday wear. It is given a fresh twist an indigo colour with contrasting powder blue pockets and reinforced elbow patched. It’s finished with metal donut buttons. As with all TSPTR pieces, it is ethically made in Portugal.
