The Strike Gold SG7104 Relaxed Tapered Jeans come in the latest cut offered by the brand: a relaxed tapered silhouette featuring a medium high rise with a roomy thigh and a narrow leg opening. They’re made from a 17oz super-slubby denim, which was developed by the brand and is made on vintage shuttle looms. To achieve the character of the cloth and the feel, short Zimbabwean cotton threads are used and the weave is done as loosely as possible, stretching the looms to their limits. The result is a denim that has a rough, slubby feel and that is capable of some serious high-contrast fades over time. They’re finished with original iron buttons, copper rivets and a deer leather patch. These jeans are sanforized and have been washed once meaning that minimal or no further shrinkage will occur.
