One Ear Brand Ga Bandanna – Mulch

The Ga Bandanna takes its name from the Japanese word for moth, ?, and represents a reworking of the earlier Nighthings design with a new direction and intent. Conceived as a kind of version 2.0, the design evolves the original idea while introducing a distinct visual language.

Drawing on vintage Turkey Red bandannas, the outer border features an intricate crochet-style pattern, framing moth motifs paired with a scattered confetti effect. At the centre sits a guiding light, radiating outward through the phases of the moon and two lanterns. The palette is deliberately restrained and grounded — dark browns, greens, and blacks — kept realistic and earthy, not unlike mulch.

This marks a clear departure from One Ear Brand’s usual aesthetic, and very intentionally so. Ga is part of a broader effort to diversify our artwork styles while retaining a strong sense of atmosphere and narrative.

We offer an easy returns process which is explained in detail on our returns page. All we ask is that returned items arrive back with us in as-new condition including labels and packaging. Unless we’ve made a mistake, we can’t refund or exchange socks, magazines or books.
