The RoToTo Comfy Room Socks “Snowflake” are a new variation of winter favourite and TTK Christmas present go-to, the “Nordic” Comfy Room Sock. These fly out every Autumn and Winter, so when RoToTo add a couple of new variations we were all over it.
Like their Nordic siblings, these are ultra-low gauge room socks developed using a machine originally used to create a variety of workwear socks such as fisherman’s socks. The yarn is a blend of acrylic and wool which is both warm and gentle on the skin. Once knitted, the inside is then brushed, a process that further raises the heat retention properties. The sole features a non-slip rubber print making this a perfect slipper sock.

RoToTo socks come in three sizes: Small, Medium and Large. These are equivalent to the following UK, European, US and Japanese shoe sizes. If you are in between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a comfortable fit.

RoToTo socks are manufactured in Hiroyu, Japan, with each pair designed around a “lifelong consumables” ethos. Made with the combination of old and new manufacturing processes that bring together vintage American knitting machines imported to Japan in the early 1900s and modern materials and technology, RoToTo’s socks are the finest you’ll ever slip your feet into.
The brand avoids mass production and supports skilled, local craftspeople with a deep knowledge of their craft stemming from decades of work in the garment industry.
We’ve been wearing RoToTo socks for years and their comfort and durability are second to none. We’ve tested them during long hikes in the Northumberland hills; the choice of materials and quality of construction means they are tough and comfortable enough for all-day wear.

Designed for durability and comfort, there are no specific car instructions for these socks. We do recommend going easy with tumble drying, though. Medium heat is fine, but avoid high heat to keep these socks looking new.
