The Papa Nui Battalion Work Hat takes its place on the Road to Tokio, where Marines, Sea Bees and sailors needed reliable shade across the exposed atolls of the Pacific. Based on the War Production Board-approved M1937 work hat, it reworks a practical service shape into something with full Papa Nui field character.
The original indigo work hat is transformed here in Frogskin camo, giving the Battalion Work Hat a rugged island utility while keeping the familiar, functional shape intact. Tough, simple and purposeful, it remains a prized piece of kit on the training grounds of Fort Nui.

Papa Nui size guide

Watch caps and other special models come in one size. Because of the materials used, these will work for you if either Medium and Large size Papa Nui caps fit you comfortably.

For more information on shipping, we have a dedicated shipping page. We use Royal Mail for most orders but occasionally UPS, FedEx and DHL for higher value international orders. Shipping starts at £6 in the UK and £15 international and increases based on location and, for larger orders, weight.
Please be aware that we’re a two person operation so there may be a day or two between ordering and shipping. If you need something urgently, please contact us and we’ll probably be able to sort it.
We offer an easy returns process which is explained in detail on our returns page. All we ask is that returned items arrive back with us in as-new condition including labels and packaging. Unless we’ve made a mistake, we can’t refund or exchange socks, magazines or books.
