The Riding High Azuma Tube Fleece Crew Sweat is a vintage-inspired crew sweat based on 1950s American athletic wear and made in Wakayama, one of Japan’s key knitwear regions. The sweatshirt is made from Azuma brushed fleece, slowly knitted on rare Azuma machines from the early 1970s. This gives the fabric its soft, full handle and the slightly plush texture associated with vintage sweatshirts.
The construction follows period details closely, with double V-gussets at the neck, freedom sleeves for easier movement, and seamless tubular rib cuffs. The body is also knitted in a tubular form, removing side seams for comfort while reducing fabric waste. Each size is knitted on a machine set specifically for that size, giving the sweatshirt a precise shape and a more considered finish.

We offer an easy returns process which is explained in detail on our returns page. All we ask is that returned items arrive back with us in as-new condition including labels and packaging. Unless we’ve made a mistake, we can’t refund or exchange socks, magazines or books.
