The Red Rabbit Trading Co. Winged Liberty Charm is made from a Mercury dime, also known as the Winged Liberty Head Dime, which was a part of US currency from 1916 until 1945. Like many older coins, the mercury dime is 900 grade silver (just below 925 of sterling silver). This makes it perfect to incorporate into jewellery. This coin is dated 1943.
