The Papa Nui Type 1 Marine Battle Jacket reworks a classic early-1940s denim silhouette through the lens of US Marine Corps field clothing. Inspired by shortened battle jackets worn after Guadalcanal, it combines the shape of a 506XX-style single-pocket jacket with the functionality of military utility garments.
Cut from Olive Drab herringbone twill, the jacket replaces the traditional small chest pocket with a larger P-44 Utility Jacket-style pocket. A T-back panel references early 506 construction, while blackened donut buttons complete the period military appearance. Compact, practical and suited to warmer climates, it pairs naturally with Papa Nui’s Battle Beach Togs.
