We want shopping with Those That Know to be easy. To make sure you’re completely satisfied with your experience with us we have a simple Shipping & Returns process.
Shipping
We use Royal Mail to ship orders. We charge a flat rate shipping cost per order based on your location. This is:
- UK – £3.55 (Delivery in 48 hours)
- Europe – £4.80 (Delivery in 3-5 working days)
- Rest of World – from £6.50 (Delivery in 6-7 working days)

Returns
We’re happy to accept return or exchange of orders in new and unworn condition with original packaging within 14 days of receipt. To return your order, please contact us first on [email protected].

Papa Nui size guide
With some exceptions, Papa Nui caps come in sizes Medium (57-58cm), Large (59-60cm) and X Large (60-62cm). To find out more about how to measure your head to get the sizing of your cap perfect, see this detailed article about Papa Nui sizing.
Watch caps and other special models come in one size. Because of the materials used, these will work for you if either Medium and Large size Papa Nui caps fit you comfortably.

Papa Nui Cap Co. is the creation of John Tesoriero and draws on decades of experience in the heritage clothing industry, along with an enviable collection of vintage clothing and militaria.
The brand creates caps with vintage military, utility and surf influences, inspired by the resourcefulness of GIs and their ability to reimagine and repurpose their kit to suit their environment. Much more than simply a reproduction brand, each Papa Nui cap has a story behind it.
The finest military-spec materials are sourced from Japan and each cap is battle-tested under the rays of the South Pacific sun. Manufacturing is left to the capable hands of John Lofgren & Co., who ensure the finished products are made to the highest standards of quality and ethics, resulting in a cap that will last a lifetime and only look better with age.
Papa Nui Cap Co. was our first brand at Those That Know and we stock every release, including many pieces that are not available anywhere else. As John himself says, “anything else is just a cap”.
Care
As with all Papa Nui caps, the Sub Hunter is a hard wearing piece and is ready for anything you can throw at it.
When necessary, we recommend machine washing your Sub Hunter cap on a cold cycle. Allow to dry naturally. If your Sub Hunter fits you perfectly, avoid tumble drying as this may result in slight shrinkage.
