The Papa Nui Mike Forney Flight Cap has, like all Papa Nui Caps, a story behind it. Its inspiration comes from the cap worn by Chief Petty Officer, Mike Forney, a helicopter pilot, during a successful rescue mission. The cap’s shape takes cues from 1950s style aviation ball caps and it comes in 100% Japanese milled cotton in a vivid Kelly Green colour with an Olive Drab herringbone twill flip-up visor. It is completed with a rugged sweatband and, as ever, the Hino Maru country of origin patch.
