Following on from the popular Sub Hunter Cap, the Papa Nui Hemingway Fishing Cap is the second cap from the Papa influenced by novelist, journalist, and all-round embodiment of style, Ernest Hemingway. As a war correspondent, Ernie was imbedded with the 4th long before the term was even invented and during his tour in France and then Germany, he took as much time out as possible to cast a line in the rivers and streams that skirted the battlefields of Europe. To remind him of being at home and fly fishing in the rapids of the Big Two-Hearted, he had the Papa make him up an ample visored fishing cap, on the pattern of those he wore in Key West and Bimini and later in Ketchum.  Using available GI herringbone cloth, he crafted a cap that was destined to become an iconic classic, featuring a 6 panelled crown with a 10” visor. Rugged handsome and completely practical.
