The Filigree Bandanna faithfully recreates a rare vintage piece believed to have been made in France. Its restrained layout and generous areas of open cloth stand apart from the dense ornament usually associated with early bandannas.

The defining feature is its tangerine orange, a shade strongly associated with European textiles of the 1920s. The colour gives the simple, lightly worked design its presence.
