Seuvas “Washi” Raglan Coverall
£290.00
The Seuvas Washi Raglan Coverall Jacket is a lightweight chore-style jacket made in Japan from a high-density washi and linen fabric. The blend combines linen warp threads with traditional Japanese washi paper weft threads, creating a cloth that is light, breathable, and dry to the touch, while still feeling notably sturdy.
Dyed with Binchotan charcoal, the fabric has a deep grey tone with natural variation and texture that will develop character with wear. The shape is based on a vintage coverall silhouette, updated with raglan sleeve construction and triple stitching for strength and ease of movement.

Seuvas is a brand that is dedicated to working with canvas and producing classic workwear-inspired pieces that they call “free-spirited clothes”. Each piece is cut and sewn in Kurashiki, Japan, a city that accounts for 70% of Japan’s canvas production, using vintage sewing machines. The canvas they use is made by Takeyari, a manufacturer that was established in 1888 and has been making canvas for over 130 years. For that extra special detail, many Seuvas pieces are finished with a porcelain button made from clay ore in Amakusa City, Kimamoto Prefecture. With their combination of tough canvas and careful sewing, each Seuvas piece is designed to be a canvas for its wearer and develop an individual character all of its own.
