The Papa Nui Original Ships Cap returns by popular demand, updated from one of the earliest Papa Nui releases of the early 2000s. Known as the Atoll Defender, it is a tough coastal service cap built with the same rugged appeal that made the original a standout amongst the Beach Battalion.
The front is cut from hard-wearing HBT, paired with a bomb-proof poly mesh back and adjustable rear tab for easy warm-weather wear. Finished with an embroidered Papa Nui patch at the crown, it is available in Jungle Green Frog Skin camo or rugged OD for full atoll-ready character.
Please note: this is an adjustable one-size cap and may feel oversized on smaller 57cm head measurements. A hot wash can help tighten and improve the fit.

Papa Nui size guide

Watch caps and other special models come in one size. Because of the materials used, these will work for you if either Medium and Large size Papa Nui caps fit you comfortably.

For more information on shipping, we have a dedicated shipping page. We use Royal Mail for most orders but occasionally UPS, FedEx and DHL for higher value international orders. Shipping starts at £6 in the UK and £15 international and increases based on location and, for larger orders, weight.
Please be aware that we’re a two person operation so there may be a day or two between ordering and shipping. If you need something urgently, please contact us and we’ll probably be able to sort it.
We offer an easy returns process which is explained in detail on our returns page. All we ask is that returned items arrive back with us in as-new condition including labels and packaging. Unless we’ve made a mistake, we can’t refund or exchange socks, magazines or books.
