The Papa Nui Brushstroke cap is a long time coming. It comes in a featherweight, Japanese linen/ramie blend that makes it into a cap of unsurpassed beauty. The Brushstroke camouflage print, a concept developed by the British Ministry of Defense, formulates the initial idea of using large mop-like brushes to paint over a standard khaki background. The Brushstroke pattern was influential in the development of derivative designs including the French Lizard and the Vietnamese Tigerstripe camouflages. The Papa Brushstroke is built into a cap with a deep aviators profile, the Papa’s signature 7.5cm visor and a herringbone twill sweatband that adds body to the sublime detailing.
