Esmond Bandanna – Garden

The Esmond Bandanna is based on the richly patterned trade blankets produced by Esmond Mills in Rhode Island. Its geometric arrangement reflects the visual language of American trade blankets, themselves shaped by Native American basketry, beadwork and weaving traditions.

Yurika’s artwork combines matcha green, indigo blue and rusty red, bringing Japanese colour references to a design rooted in American textile history.
