The Loop & Weft Classic Henley is made in Japan from heavyweight 100% cotton loopwheel jersey, slowly knitted on rare vintage loopwheel machines in Wakayama. These old machines work at a fraction of the speed of modern knitting equipment, producing a fabric with exceptional density, softness, stretch and durability.
The design takes its cues from 1960s henley shirts, with a woven front placket, vintage-style jacquard knitted neck, wide ribbed cuffs and considered stitch work throughout. Four-needle flat seam construction and two-needle sewing help reduce bulk at the seams, giving the shirt a clean finish and comfortable feel against the skin.
Cut in a regular fit with enough room through the body and sleeves, it works easily as a standalone piece or as a base layer. The fabric has real substance from the start, but will continue to soften and develop character with wear.

Typical of Loop & Weft’s sizing, the tee is a relatively trim fit. For a looser, more comfortable fit we recommend sizing up by one. If you own other Loop & Weft t-shirts, choose your normal size. Compare the measurements below with a t-shirt you own to get the perfect fit.

Fitting
This garment fits small, we recommend sizing up.
For more information on shipping, we have a dedicated shipping page. We use Royal Mail for most orders but occasionally UPS, FedEx and DHL for higher value international orders. Shipping starts at £6 in the UK and £15 international and increases based on location and, for larger orders, weight.
Please be aware that we’re a two person operation so there may be a day or two between ordering and shipping. If you need something urgently, please contact us and we’ll probably be able to sort it.
We offer an easy returns process which is explained in detail on our returns page. All we ask is that returned items arrive back with us in as-new condition including labels and packaging. Unless we’ve made a mistake, we can’t refund or exchange socks, magazines or books.
