The Alberton Japan Outdoor Vest is a collaboration between the brand and One Ear Brand’s Jonathan Lukacek. Its outer is made from Alberton’s 15oz heavy cotton duck fabric, which has a rich history and has been painstakingly recreated from the original made in Baltimore over 100 years ago.
The inside of the vest is lined with a fire-resistant high-pile Sliva knit fleece, which has excellent heat retention properties, making this a great vest for layering. Wear it over a sweatshirt or under a jacket during the colder months. The vest is cut in a boxy fit with plenty of room, a slightly longer back and is finished with heavy duty hardware.

Alberton Japan revives a lost American textile legend. Once a major spinning company in Baltimore, Alberton built its name on durable duck cotton, a tightly woven, water-repellent fabric first used by the US Army in World War I. More than a century later, the brand has been faithfully reborn in Japan and its iconic fabric is recreated using the same traditional methods for a modern audience.
