The Papa Nui Skyknight Cap explores the Papa’s love for post-WWII aircraft. The Douglas F-10 Sky Knight was a Navy Marine jet fighter designed to escort B-29’s on night bombing missions over Korea in the early 1950’s. Only one aircraft was lost to air combat against a MiG 15 and the Skyknight Cap build on this reputation. Charcoal Black jungle cloth whip cord references both Navy fabrications of the era as well as the F-10’s mission role. Under the visor and the sweatband is constructed using HBT in olive drab and adds to the comfort and utility of wearing this cap. Its styling is typical of early 50’s Naval aviation and draws on the Papa’s all time Hell Cat Cap silhouette which provides maximum cover from the elements. Another rugged piece to accompany your ever expanding kit and one that will age with a unique patina for years to come.

Watch caps and other special models come in one size. Because of the materials used, these will work for you if either Medium and Large size Papa Nui caps fit you comfortably.

For more information on shipping, we have a dedicated shipping page. We use Royal Mail for most orders but occasionally UPS, FedEx and DHL for higher value international orders. Shipping starts at £6 in the UK and £15 international and increases based on location and, for larger orders, weight.
