About TSPTR Corduroy Trestle Shorts

The TSPTR Corduroy Trestle Shorts are based on Vietnam War-era US Army fatigue pants, which were later worn as cut-offs for surfing by returning GIs. They feature front patch pockets, above the knee styling and zip fly. Their name is taken from the iconic surf break Trestles at San Onofre State Beach in San Diego County.

Summer 2021 sees the return of the popular corduroy that first made its appearance last season in the popular CPO Work Shirt. The cloth is made from 100% cotton and naturally dyed, this season into two stunning colours; berry and boulder. As with all pieces in the TSPTR collection, it is made ethically in Portugal.

His viewpoint was that “form should ever follow function”. The brand takes its inspiration from American counterculture, citing pop culture, war, protest and music amongst the influences it uses.
