The RoToTo Denim Tone Crew Socks are the result of the application of a variety of cotton yarns which are used to create a denim-look sock. Although the fabric is denim in look, they are not indigo dyed, so you don’t need to worry about dye transfer. These cotton-based socks are comfortable, breathable and sturdy and the fabrication of the yarn means that they are perfect for wear all year round.
We’ve been wearing socks by RoToTo for a couple of years and have tested them both in the city and during winter hikes in the Northumberland and Lake District hills. They’re exceptionally comfortable and, even with frequent all-day wear they look as good as they did brand new. When compared to other premium sock brands we’ve worn, there’s no competition: RoToTo are by far the most comfortable and hard-wearing we’ve found.
RoToTo socks are manufactured in the Nara Prefecture, Hiroyu, Japan using vintage knitting machines brought to Japan from the USA in the early 1900s. Avoiding mass production, they support skilled craftsmen and women who operate these machines manually and have developed a deep knowledge of their materials and manufacturing processes. Made with comfort and functionality in mind, the Baja Cali socks are designed to be “lifelong consumables”, to be worn hard and to take whatever you throw at them.
